Die Co-Produktion aus Halle liefert daher die Original-Versionen mit, brillant gesprochen und gespielt von dem britischen Komiker Adrian Gillott...ein kleines multimediales Ereignis mit fantastischen Einfällen, geboren aus ganz einfachen Mitteln.

This Halle puppet theatre and Nico and the Navigators coproduction both charms and challenges the audience with its celebration of bilingualism. It doesn't use surtitles, but rather the German version of the English original is also present as a kind of dialogue or echo. A dapper Adrian Gillot uses something like word choreography to slip in the English version.

Hümpel uses her creative freedom to take a personal journey into the poet’s world in search of a way to stage the meaning behind motifs meant to read. Jerky puppet-like mechanical movement illustrates the enrapturing diction of the poems in this enticing co-operation with the Puppentheater Halle.
